Our Mission

Storytelling is our superpower. Learning is our passion.

We’re storyteachers.

Today’s kids are exploring a world far more complex than the one we grew up in, and they’re facing challenges we never imagined.
What skills do they need to navigate this fundamentally changed world?

The ability to think creatively and critically, to adapt and solve problems, to understand and feel at home in communities far beyond their own, and to express their thoughts and feelings with clarity.

These are the new fundamentals, and they’re teachable skills. That’s where Encantos comes in.

We know kids learn best through stories. So we partner with a diverse group of storytellers to create culturally rich, curriculum-infused storyteaching experiences.

Storyteaching engages and inspires kids to think on their feet, to connect with others from backgrounds different than their own, and to be curious and creative.

With the Encantos storyteaching platform, kids learn the skills they need to flourish—and they learn to love learning along the way.

Our Products

The Encantos app brings the storyverse to life and uses technology to help customize the experience so that our worlds grow as your children do.

But just as learning shouldn’t stop in the classroom, storyteaching doesn’t stop with our app.

By fusing physical and digital experiences, we expand our storyworlds to meet kids where they are, with the kinds of tools they love. Animated series, books, songs, apps, games, puzzles, and other products encourage kids to continue learning through play, curiosity, and engagement.

Giving Back

As a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), each of our brands is tied to a family-focused social benefit cause to give back to a community. People want to work for, buy from, and invest in brands they believe in. We believe being a PBC is the most powerful way to build credibility, trust, and value with and for kids and families.

Encantos Launches Fearless as a Groundbreaking New NFT Initiative to Improve the Lives of Girls Around the World

Developed and championed by the world-renowned advocate for girls Anna María Chávez, Fearless will help inspire, fuel, and fund causes that give girls a fair shot from day one.

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Forbes 30/50 Summit, championing the top female leaders in the world, was the site of an historic challenge from Anna María Chávez, Chief Impact Officer of Encantos, to finally and fundamentally level the playing field for girls around the world. In advance of International Women’s Day, Chávez spoke at the Forbes 30/50 Summit to call attention to the barriers and hurdles facing girls and the need for coordinated effort to create real change. Chávez’s talk culminated in the announcement of the launch of a new girls’ initiative called Fearless.

“The 10 most innovative education companies of 2021.”

Founded in 2022 by Chávez, the former CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Fearless is a global initiative engaging people, businesses and nonprofits to inspire, fuel, and fund causes that give girls a fair shot from day one. The Fearless mission is to help girls value and express themselves fearlessly. Fearless partners with the world’s most progressive leaders and companies to develop Fearless-branded products, experiences, and services whose purchases contribute to the Fearless Global Fund. These contributions are then invested in programs that sponsor and support girls around the world. Fearless will launch as a series of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) created by female artists and minted on the Encantos platform. More information on Fearless and its roadmap can be found at https://nft.encantos.io/fearless.

Fearless is aimed at advancing the opportunities for girls by funding efforts to help provide equal access to education, create a social safety network, empower them to compete in the future workforce, and help develop the next generation of female activists who fight for change. The situation for girls has grown worse around the world as countries struggled with the Covid-19 global pandemic, education was disrupted, funding for social services were stretched as economies suffered, and fundamental rights which were settled law have been rolled back. Technologies that were launched to build global communities and expand access to services have given rise to misuse, abuse, and created a hostile environment for them.

“I’ve been advocating for girls for the past 25 years and I am devastated that the challenges they face have only grown more pervasive,” says Chávez. “Supporting girls to be their best selves is more important than ever. Young people face an unprecedented set of challenges inherited from adults and exacerbated by two years of a global pandemic. As we prepare to thrive in this new century, our core mission is to change girls’ lives so that they can discover themselves, take charge of their future, and inspire them and others to create a fair and equitable society. We need to invest in girls. When we make things better for girls, they make things better for everyone.”

Chávez outlined the key pillars of Fearless – where all girls both deserve and demand:

  1. To have access to free, reliable healthcare; nourishing food; stable housing; and a great education.
  2. To be a girl as long as she wants with no pressure to fit in and to accommodate what others think of her.
  3. To dream big and face no man-made barriers to accomplish these dreams.
  4. To be seen and treated like a leader regardless of her age.
  5. To be supported by kind adults so she can try, fail, pick herself up, and keep on trying when addressing the problems that surround her, her community, and her world.
  6. To learn to be an active ally to other girls and women.

Fearless is being launched as the latest creator initiative by Encantos. With its mission to democratize, decentralize, and diversify learning, Encantos is empowering creators who help kids learn enabling them to bring their projects to life on its platform.

Fearless will launch with a collection of extraordinary NFTs, which serve as a pledge and commitment to advocate for change. The proceeds of this NFT launch will be used to fund the initiative, make significant contributions to partner organizations that share this mission and are already actively working to elevate girls’ opportunities, and to create physical and digital experiences to help girls flourish. In collaboration with brand and non-profit partners, Fearless experiences will include content, consumer products, and publishing that will teach girls to value themselves and their power.

“Less than 2% of all philanthropic giving goes to girls, less than $6.00 per girl. People give more money to animal causes than to girl causes. This needs to change now and there’s no greater champion for girls than Anna María,” said Steven Wolfe Pereira, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Encantos. “She has been fighting for girls her whole career. She’s gone all around the world listening to girls and hearing their dreams and aspirations. But as the years go by, girls don’t see enough progress in their lives, and they deserve better. We can’t wait. Girls can’t afford to wait. This is our time to step up for girls and I’m proud to be an ally and support Anna María in launching Fearless.”
